Hello dB Music fans!

 

So here is the update and good news… dB Music has found a new home starting November 3rd!  We will be located at 13589 Peggy’s Cove Rd in Tantallon.  The building is on the left almost as soon as you turn onto the road from the St Margaret’s Bay Rd.  This new location boast loads of properly sized parking that is well lit and is within walking distance of Superstore, Canadian Tire and Home Hardware, as well as the Melissa Connick School of Dance, Rustic Crust and Bike and Bean; loads of convenience!

 

Here are the tricky details for the next couple weeks:

• Scheduling has to change a bit because we are limited to one teaching room in the new location (hopefully I can change this as time goes on).  The plan is lessons with Tracy and Hilary will be on Monday and Tuesday evening.  Lessons with me (Eric) will be Mon/Tue 1-4pm, Wed/Thur 1-9, Sat 9-330.

• If you have lessons that currently exist outside the mentioned hours, let me know ASAP so we can sort out the best option.

• Timing for moving in and setup isn’t ideal so, there will be no lessons Nov.1st and 2nd while I attempt to get everything ready to rock.

• I will need to move all drum lessons to after 5pm on weekdays or over to Saturdays.  If you have questions about that or times, just let me know.

 

I will be working on a million projects over the next couple weeks.  Don’t hesitate to reach out with questions, but also don’t hesitate to follow said questions up in case I don’t get a reply out.  One of those projects will be creating a new lesson policy form I hope to have ready for the new start date.  Another will be streamlining updates that will included a “what’s happening” for dB clients and also staff. My hope is that we take this opportunity to expand and promote music by proudly showcasing our amazing clients and teachers. Next week I will also be putting up posters and business cards in the area, if you have any suggestions on where to hit up, I’d love to hear them.

 

Nov.1 is dB Music’s birthday.  I walked out of L&M on a Sunday, Halloween, and opened the doors for the first time on the 1st.  I won’t be able to open the doors to everyone on the 1st but know that I will be opening them and I will be getting the show on the road! Thank you for all the patience and understanding while we have done our best to keep things going this month. I can’t wait to see all of you in our new home!
